@Cheerfan4E@BABtize As far as catching fliers, full tops are actually considerably safer. Slippery skin due to sweat will slip right through fingers guaranteed, fabric will give you a little bit of friction. And like I said, if it fits properly it shouldn’t cause problems
@Cheerfan4E@BABtize Need or want? There’s really no need actually. If the top is improperly fit sure, but it shouldn’t get in the way of any stunting if it fits. BABS 2013 had full tops, but nobody blinked an eye because of the mesh belly.
I’m just going to leave it here that 300+ athletes are also 2019 “World Champions” so don’t let those rings go to your head. Enjoy your win, but put things into perspective.
Since having good tech is finally getting brought into this narrative I vote all sponge/load positions have feet together come load or come dismount and I hope u, my brothers and sisters, will stand by me on this
Moral of the story, talent looks different on every athlete. Get used to change in a sport that’s growing. Respect everybody. You are a cheerleader, act like it.
Unpopular opinion on NT teams: Not all pitchers in baseball are talented at bat, not all quarterbacks can punt, why is cheer different? Why can’t somebody with killer jumps and impeccable stunt tech be respected as much as the people we stan who can do it all?
Cheer is a hard sport. Every part of it requires dedication and work, not everybody had the opportunity to start tumbling when they were 4, let alone cheer at all. Can we not just respect everybody’s hard work? Even if it looks different than our own goals?
