I had no signal at all inside the stadium. THIS WAS THE BEST SPORTING EVENT I’VE EVER BEEN TO! We were sitting in the Oklahoma section, goosebumps throughout the entire 4th quarter!!!!
I have to say a huge thank you to everyone we met this summer who told us to come back for college football in the fall. This was the best idea ever!
Before this trip, we had never really followed American football, not even the NFL. The Super Bowl was the only game we watched.
Now, four weeks into our trip, we’ve become such big fans of the sport that we’re already planning watch parties in the middle of the night when we’re back in Germany!
After today’s game, we rushed back to our hotel to catch the rest of Alabama vs. Georgia, and now we’re sitting here watching Boise State vs. Fresno State.
Never thought we’d get this hooked on football. Thanks for introducing us to this amazing sport! 🙏
We‘re here in Dallas for Texas Longhorns vs Oklahoma Sooners. I think today is gonna be a completely different experience, because it‘s being played at the Cotton Bowl right in the middle of the Texas State Fair.
I don‘t know why I‘ve never heard about this stadium before but this looks iconic. 91,000 capacity!
Also there‘s two pony‘s here on the Oklahoma side: Boomer and Sooner.
It’s time to say goodbye to our car. From Chicago to Iowa, down to Auburn, along the Gulf Coast, back and forth across the Southeast and now all the way to Texas. Nearly 4,000 miles. You’ve done us proud! ❤️
We’ve seen the comments saying we eat too much fast food and should try more local spots. So we did!
This was in Talihina, a 925 people town in Oklahoma. I’d say it doesn’t get more local than this. The best part is we only paid $35 for everything (food & drinks!)
OMG A BEAR JUST RAN RIGHT ACROSS THE ROAD!!!
We just made it to Oklahoma and this guy suddenly appeared right in front of us. This made us rethink our plans of going camping somewhere around here.
There’s a puppy living right next to the road. We noticed it because it ran across the street while we were driving. What are we supposed to do now? We don’t want it to get run over. Is there someone we can call?
Our very short stop at Ole Miss is already over. This was definitely not enough time and we need to come back for a gameday here. We walked across campus last night and visited the stadium. The campus is one of the nicest we’ve seen so far.
This morning we went to a breakfast spot that someone we met in Cullman, who graduated from Ole Miss, recommended to us. Finally something healthy to eat. Now it’s time to get back on the road and drive to Arkansas.
Starting today, all Steak n Shake buns are officially seed-oil free. The buns are now unapologetically drenched in pure Grade AA Wisconsin butter.
The grass-fed, grass-finished Steakburger in a seed-oil-free bun is a new level of quality. Steak n Shake is breaking new ground with tastier, healthier options at affordable prices.

Love this. A Utah mother discovered that her coworker was the son she had placed for adoption 20 years earlier.
At 15, Holly Shearer became unexpectedly pregnant and chose adoption, giving her son Benjamin the chance to grow up surrounded by love.
Two decades later, she discovered they were working at the same hospital, and they reunited.
One brave decision gave a child a future and, years later, brought a mother and son back together.
