@stoolsalesguy The flavor of a correctly made smash burger can’t be matched by a regular burger. Look up Maillard reaction to understand why. Have to make it a double though at a minimum.
@thestinkeye This wasn’t a flight control issue. It’s a poor join up that was continued well beyond where it should have been stopped. Trying to save it while being sucked and stepped up on lead and likely losing sight. Continuing that join up was not wise.
@Combat_learjet As soon as -2 got sucked, stepped up and lost sight, he should have leveled and called it out. It happened very fast so maybe they tried to deconflict and called lost sight but that’s tough to watch. It’s easy to critique from the couch but this was still avoidable.
@tameral130@MCCCANM Pretty sure none of the Navy demo teams did any formation demonstration. I’m assuming this was the main demo aircraft and the spare leaving the airfield. Joining up after takeoff to head home. Could be wrong but that’s my guess.
If that was joinup/rendezvous the plane that was joining and stepped up is way out of position. Should have knocked it off, leveled wings and deconflicted in altitude. No way they had sight. If they were crossing over from one side to the other, doing it from above/stepped up isn’t the way. I can’t figure out what they were doing here.
