I've been away from Twitter for awhile. I've lost interest in a lot of things due to either my Parkinson's disease or covid-19 or both. I'm trying to get back on track and start fund raising again.
I don't know if living with Parkinson's or this Covid-19 thing or combination of the two have contributed to me losing interest in doing things. This includes being on Twitter and Facebook.
Thank you to everyone who donated to me for the 2020 Parkinson's Unity Walk. And for everyone else, it's not too late to give!

@Phil_Badger I have that problem here in Connecticut. Parkinson's support groups are in the afternoon because most are retired. They aren't geared towards the working person. I'd love to join your group but the commute would be a doosy! Lol.
When I was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease I was in a funk for a couple years. I found a wonderful guy who operates a wellness boxing program who has instilled confidence in battling this disease head on. He is a great motivator. If you want to talk to him please message me
Is there any other Parkinson's sufferers like me think that Parkinson's is an overlooked disease? I think most people that don't have the disease think it's only about tremors. Sure there are worse diseases and I probably will die with Parkinson's not from it. Just my feelings.
@yopdMomof3 I guess it's because Parkinson's isn't considered to be fatal. Insignificant? Most people don't realize what we all go through every day. Not to mention were all different but controlled by the same disease.
@j_gallan@YouMeAndPD Last year I finally found the right neurologist who specializes in Parkinson's and movement disorders. I also found a wonderful wellness boxing program that has helped me physically and mentally. I recommend a boxing program if you haven't done so.
@KerrywaitforitA Yeah the place I go I'm able to go in the evening because they have regular boxing classes and the guy who runs it is really into helping people with Parkinson's. Most programs are during the day because many people with it are older and retired.
@KerrywaitforitA Yes the tremors affect my right arm and I'm left handed. My symptoms are mild a little of tremors, a little pain a little slower, a little bit this and s little bit that. Have you thought about doing a boxing program that is geared towards Parkinson's disease?
@KerrywaitforitA You look young. Do they not believe that you have Parkinson's because they are in the stone age and still think it's an old persons disease?
@j_gallan@YouMeAndPD It's crazy to think your doctor didn't suspect Parkinson's. It's a misunderstood disease that many people think is just about tremors but they have no idea what we go through every day. #LetsMakeParkinsonsHistory
