I have been doing a lot more content lately mostly ASMR & tanghulu/gaming. I will start posting it on X more, in an effort to try to grow those genres on the platform; hopefully growing here as well as it expands for wider consumption of long format videos!
This Meta Glasses commercial at the US Open was absolutely brilliant. At the end of the day, your phone might just stay in your pocket.
$META is coming for your lunch, $AAPL. Watch out.
JUST IN: NASA says its Moon Base is running ahead of schedule, with the first element now expected to launch in December followed by near-monthly robotic missions to the lunar surface beginning in early 2027.
NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman said the agency expects to beat the original national-space-policy target of putting the first Moon Base elements in place by 2030.
The plan is to send infrastructure, rovers and other equipment ahead of astronauts so hardware is already operating on the surface when crews arrive.
NASA is also developing a public website that will allow people to follow construction of the lunar base as missions arrive.
“We’re leaving no doubts this time,” Isaacman said. “It’s all in HD.”

We announced an agreement to acquire a nationwide low-band spectrum license portfolio that will pave the way for @Starlink to become a major mobile carrier in the US.
With this new spectrum and our Gen2 constellation, Starlink Mobile can ensure Americans have access to high-speed mobile broadband no matter where they are → https://t.co/1Uaf48v5pm
After six years in stealth, Atomic Machines is out. Our mission: on-demand, universal command of matter. First beachhead: the Matter Compiler, an AI-native manufacturing system that builds working micro-machines from code alone. No per-product tooling. No process development. Different code, different machine.
Emad Mostaque: AI models "have pretty much reached the efficiency of a human brain".
Alibaba's Qwen 27B normally needs about 60GB of memory, and a team from Prism ML cut that to 6GB by storing its numbers with 1.5 bits instead of 16 while keeping 95% of its performance.
At 6GB it runs on a Raspberry Pi, "which uses as much energy as your brain."

Remember what I have been telling you:
When adequate support dried up decades ago, Mathematicians and more so Physicists became a club where the senior members deliberately slowed down the pace of progress of all our research to match the pace and direction of their club.
