in 2021, generative art changed everything
an algorithm runs at mint, thousands of unique outputs, no two the same
@artblocks_io proved that code could be the artist
we had:

the output was random but the rules were deliberate
but here's what is common to all of them:
once the algorithm ran, it stopped
the art was generated once, frozen and never moved again
you own the output, not the process
@adamilenich is doing something different with pattern retrieval
each piece is not a frozen output, it's a living process running every single time you open it
it's a memory that forgets itself, then remembers
each one corrupted into noise and finding its way back every single time
