Boris Johnson’s resignation speech, 7th July: ‘I want you to know that from now until the new Prime Minister is in place, your interests will be served and the government of the country will be carried on’
Boris Johnson, 16th July:
Where are you @pritipatel? Pathetic.
Why haven't you turned up to Parliament to take questions from MPs on the racism targeted at England players?
Why are you too scared to take responsibility for your actions & apologise for stoking up the racism they've faced in recent days?
Complete & utter disregard & disrespect for hospitality in a single photo. Whilst a battered & scapegoated sector struggles on with staff forced to wear face masks & customers only allowed to be served outside the PM swans into a pub & shows rules simply don’t apply to him.
Whilst it is very disappointing not to be open until May 17th, it is shocking to have to wait another 10 days for the budget to see what financial support is forthcoming. It is so clear none of them have run a business and ever been responsible for people’s livelihoods.
So you're telling me Matt Hancock's mate and his old local pub landlord is apparently not the most qualified person to be producing testing kits?

Nice PR photograph. Will you be meeting anyone who works in the hospitality industry who can't afford to start their own tv show?
For example, workers in Greater Manchester who you said were only worth 66% of the minimum wage?
@RishiSunak@GordonRamsay Rishi I think if you spoke to @UKHospKate you might gain some knowledge about how a wide spectrum of the industry is feeling. With due respect to Gordon he operates in London and only in restaurants.
You purged 21 colleagues from your party for daring to vote against you, had your ministers boycott the country’s main news shows for most of last year, and are now going to war with the National Trust for discussing the Empire. The only free speech you care about is your own.
The relentless reports of Tories handing out public money without tender to their "mates" in the pandemic are sickening. It suggests grubby cronyism worthy of unscrupulous politicians and officials in a Banana Republic. We can't let them off the hook. https://t.co/PIi2u98xi9
I wonder if the fact that property developers who built flats covered in dangerous cladding have donated £2.5 million to the Conservative Party since the Grenfell Tower fire has anything to do with the government failure to tackle the cladding crisis? Hmm

The government is spending more to cover up the crony contracts they have handed out to their mates than they are spending on free school meal vouchers for hungry children next week during half term (£0).

Last week Boris Johnson promised he would announce support for leaseholders affected by the cladding scandal.
Yet this week, it turns out the Government has betrayed them.
This is a colossal injustice that Ministers have yet again failed to correct.

Spotted by a Citizen...Health Secretary Matt Hancock has a photo of The Cock Inn, Thurlow hanging behind him in his Red Room. The pub was owned by Alex Bourne, who won a £30m Covid19 contract for test tube work. His firm had only recently gained a safety certificate for testing.
The government has sold out leaseholders and residents once again.
It is cowboy builders, dodgy developers and the manufacturers of flammable cladding who should pay, not families who are caught up in the cladding crisis through no fault of their own.

I cannot believe we are back in this situation again.
Time is running out and the government must do the right thing today to make sure that no child goes hungry on Monday when the half term holidays start.
