Perhaps the people super angry about various things in the Olympics, combined with those overly concerned with athletes’ personal lives can also get angry about the fact that our Olympic golf team didn’t have uniforms.
That’s right. Uniforms. #OlympicGames#Olympics
Elreen Ando isn’t going to medal but personal bests on snatch and clean and jerk at the biggest stage of all? Epic. I hope she will be even better funded because she can do damage in 2028 I think. #olympics
Another classy, dominant win by Nesthy Pestecio, assuring her of an Olympic medal!!! I believe she will join only Hidilyn Diaz and (if I’m not mistaken) Teofilo Yldefonso as the only Filipinos with multiple Olympic medals. #Olympics
A lot of women have higher than normal testosterone levels because of PCOS.... does that make us men? Saka lang naman kayo concerned kapag pwede nyong gamitin yung issue to fuel your transphobia. Kadiri kayo.
Are you proud of your offspring’s achievements? Yes because you had a hand in raising them, much like these Fil Foreigners’ parents.
No one is adding their medal tallies to our tallies. No one is deluded enough to do that. It’s just nice to celebrate them as well.

No matter what Gilas does from here, this one is legendary.
What I hope non F & B people will see is that dishes (outside of fast food/chain restos) takes years to develop, a product of a chef’s life experience. It’s often an amalgamation of their life story & the techniques they’ve picked up.
That’s what you pay for. Ingredients & life
S03E01 of TheBear is pure art. On the surface, it beautifully shows the immense and often painful journey Carmy (& most chefs) went through to get to the acclaimed status & level he has. Music and editing was top notch.
Underneath is a different story. (1/x)
Nothing is more cringe than a foreigner cooking Filipino food on social media and then a Filipino “corrects” them… and it turns out, the foreigner was right.
We really should include Filipino food studies in our basic education curriculum.
I’m printing my baggage tag at the airport & this guy just goes straight into the line for bag drop. Employee tells him he needs to print a tag. He condescendingly says “I know.” He doesn’t leave the line.
He ends up getting sent back after getting to the front.
Ah yes.
It just so happens I was crossing the street with a family earlier today (We were walking on the pedestrian lane) and cars stopped for us. The family was so incredibly grateful, as if the cars weren’t supposed to stop for us and did us a favor.
Taipei is also what it’s like to live with dignity as a public commuter, and a disabled one at that. They have a punctual, easy-to-understand public transportion system and if you’re a PWD riding the bus, everyone tells you to take your time getting on and off.
