I wonder if it's feasible to have a tunneled/elevated line along HWY 7 and have a station at McCowan to connect directly to Markville Mall. This way GO train avoids old town Unionville.

Also the VIVA rapid way should connect directly to Unionville GO station as laid out in the secondary plan for downtown Markham.
