Go after women who like you. Not women you like and are trying to convince to like you back.
That is one of the most expensive lessons life has taught me.
You spend months, sometimes years, trying to prove your worth to someone who is not sure about you. You show up. You do the most. You bend over backwards. You overexplain yourself. You try to be everything they want, hoping that one day, they will finally see you the way you see them. And deep down, you know something is off. You know they are not matching your energy. You know you are doing too much for someone who is doing the bare minimum. But you keep going because you think if you just try a little harder, they will choose you.
But you cannot convince someone to love you. You cannot negotiate genuine attraction. You cannot force someone to feel what they do not feel. And every moment you spend chasing someone who is not sure about you is a moment you are not available for the person who will be sure about you.
The women who like you will not make you guess. They will not make you work for their attention. They will show up. They will reach out. They will make time for you. They will make you feel wanted because they actually want you. And that is not a game. That is not a tactic. That is just what interest looks like.
But instead, so many of us keep pouring into people who are not pouring back.
Unasema Sharp Girls unakosea, these women are true reflection of Wanawake Bomba. Their passion and dedication is one to admire. Their energy is contagious, they deserve a billboard. Thanks to @shikshaarora_ for always putting a small to strangers.ππππ

A spike in night-time violent robberies has been reported along the Nairobi Southern Bypass. Criminal gangs are placing boulders on the highway to force motorists to stop after crashing, particularly targeting unlit sections around Lang'ata and Dagoretti. Drivers are advised to avoid stopping immediately if hit and to keep moving to a safe, well-lit area.
