Dear @Tsihanouskaya, one important fact is missing: Tadeusz Kościuszko was a Polish national hero and General of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth.
He was born in the Commonwealth, in what is today Belarus, fought for American independence and led the 1794 Polish uprising against Russia and Prussia.
We can share his legacy - but we should not erase Poland from his history.
