@EcofriendlyBeer They mostly have to be recycled through the supplier but I see a lot of empty ones being offered online for free probably in the hope someone will find a use for them, so not all going back. It's a shame they can't be refilled. Cornelius kegs are still doing the rounds.

More work needed to reduce and recycle plastic. Fortunately beer drinkers can choose wood, aluminium and glass! Plastic kegs are also recyclable.
