Today, attended the meeting of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Housing and Urban Affairs in Sri Vijaya Puram, Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

In the presence of the Hon’ble Chairman of the Committee, Shri @reddymagunta5 Garu, we received detailed briefings on key Central Government initiatives PMAY (Urban) 2.0, PM SVANidhi, Urban Challenge Fund, and other urban development programmes.. The briefings were presented by Shri Dinesh Kapila ji, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs @MoHUA_India, Ms. Purva Garg, Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman, and other senior officials.

We had productive discussions on the implementation, progress and impact of these initiatives, along with fellow Committee Members and officials.

Remembering former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Dr. Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy Garu, on his death anniversary.

YSR Garu dedicated his life to the welfare of farmers, the poor and the marginalised. His people-centric governance and landmark initiatives in healthcare, education, agriculture and social welfare continue to inspire generations.

His legacy reminds us that politics is at its best when it serves the people.

During the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Housing and Urban Affairs’ Study Tour in Chennai, I met Hon’ble Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Shri @actorvijay Garu for a courtesy interaction.

We discussed matters of mutual interest and opportunities for cooperation between Telangana and Tamil Nadu, particularly in the areas of urban development and public infrastructure.

It was a pleasure to meet Hon’ble Chief Minister Vijay Garu and exchange views on the development and welfare of our states.

Today, attended the Study Tour of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Housing and Urban Affairs in Chennai, along with the Hon’ble Chairman @reddymagunta5 Garu and fellow Members of the Committee.

The Committee held detailed discussions with senior officials and key institutions involved in Chennai’s urban development, housing, public infrastructure, mobility, water supply and sewerage systems.

The study tour provided valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities of rapidly growing cities, with a focus on better urban planning, stronger public infrastructure and sustainable development.

Led a great discussion today with senior @INCTelangana spokesperson and Gandhi Bhawan PRO Shri Hari Prasad Garu and the media team.

We focused on key political strategies, media debate dynamics, and developing strong, fact-based public content. The entire session was excellent and crucial for elevating our communication strategy to effectively present Congress Government’s impactful work.
