Autism discourse pisses people off because if they processed the implications, they’d have to admit to themselves that all along, they’ve just been bullying disabled people for being disabled
Why are ethics questions always like:
"Why should I pay for someone else's healthcare?"
And not:
"Why are we paying trillions to murder children in the Middle East?"
it can’t be a coincidence that the people forcing AI into our lives are the same people committing unbelievably horrific war crimes. it directly benefits them the more there’s uncertainty about the authenticity of images and videos online
We can live without AI. what we cannot live without is fresh water, farmers, agriculture, land. stop supporting ai because it is destroying our planet.
It’s always "The Bible must influence our laws!" until it comes to all those verses about welcoming the immigrant, helping the poor, feeding the hungry, bringing healthcare to the sick, forgiving debts, caring for our planet, laying down our swords, or loving all our neighbors.
@KingsIslandPR Looking backwards on Mystic Timber's Timbers lift to see almost the entire park lit up is stunning. Plus I'm on one of my favorite coasters and have an amazing ride ahead of me. 😍🎄🎢
Them: You don't look autistic
Me: My autism doesn't really look like anything. It's mainly just me being anxious about things. Can't eat safe food. Anxious. Someone too close to me. Anxious. Have to do small talk. Anxious.
Them: You don't look anxious
Me: I hide it REALLY well
That autism issue where you're fully aware of your social struggles so every interaction you have leads to overanalysing everything you may have done wrong
@ParkObsession Gemini because I basically already did that for over a decade. Mean Streak was so bad it scared me off big coasters. But I loved Gemini, so it was only riding it, CCMR, Blue Streak and Iron Dragon. Mostly I'd only ride Gemini & the flats. Now if only the park would run it more.
