@missterriholley I’ve been looking into rescroll I like that it can add edits and view social media footage for inspiration not sure if it cuts though - have you tried that against this? I’ll have to look into this too.

I can agree with your thought here although I think there needs to be some more guidelines for brands when they work with creators through @TrybeUGC

Unfortunately I’ve already come across 2 different brands trying to take advantage of creators.

1. Took my content with the promise of putting ad spend behind it, never did and asked me to take it to post organically 🙅‍♀️

2. Sent a product and when it arrived told me I had to post organically 3-4 times before they decided if they wanted to run my content as ads (I told them I’d like to pay for them product and end the partnership instead since that’s not how I work with brands through Trybe)

There have been some better brands that I am focussing my attention on but I’ve heard about this from other creators as well. Not really fair for us to put out work without being paid on performance (which is the whole point of Trybe) it makes me nervous to waste time building strategy and creating content

Please put processes in place to protect your creators so this doesn’t continue to happen 🙏🫶

Maybe having the brands commit to running the ad within 2 weeks if it’s approved by them would be a good start!

I also think an approval process for creators would be a great plan as well as I see a lot of low quality work within Trybe from very inexperienced creators who really should not be on a platform like that quite yet imo. This would in turn help protect the brands from investing on shipping product and receiving low quality work
