PVL teams, don’t sleep on Xyza Gula.

She may lack height, but she definitely does not lack skill, heart, and determination.

Xyza is the epitome of a Mini Miss UST. Once called the “next Sisi Rondina,” she carved her own path as one of the Golden Tigresses’ most reliable players.

People often forget that she was trained as a libero in Season 85, which helped shape her into a more complete player with solid defensive instincts.

She became UST’s magic bunot—someone who could come in and immediately provide points, energy, and impact.

When Angge Poyos was injured during the Season 86 Finals, Xyza stepped up and helped carry the load for UST. She stayed steady on the biggest stage and gained invaluable Finals experience.

A former SSL Best Outside Hitter, she fought her way back from injury and continued to deliver for the team.

Her Season 88 campaign may not have been her flashiest, but her performances against FEU and NU in the stepladder proved that she’s more than capable when the moment calls for it.

Drafted or not, Xyza Gula deserves an opportunity. PVL teams, please take a closer look. 💛
