I've said this before but it's astonishing #StarWars has been ingrained in our society for over 40 years now, essentially as it's own religion at this point... yet some how the vast majority of people still can't distinguish the difference between who the actual rebels are and who the empire is in the real world. Not even the people who friggin' made and starred in the movies. I used to watch the films wondering "How would you get so many stormtroopers to just willingly be bad guys like that?" but after the last three years now I know.
