Far from the whackiest (haha) weapon I've ever seen.
The gothic maces of emperor Frederick III (and his son Maximilian) have space inside their handles for board games.
Late 15th century.
I am very happy to see that Grand Cathay will feature in the new #WarhammerTheOldWorld Core Set.🐉
Even though I am absolutely horrible at playing TOW, deploying my Cathay army is always lots of fun. I will surely split this box with some evil Chaos lover.👹

@ABodorics The Orientalist look...one of the best Western inventions. It never did exist like this, but boy do we wish it did.
With this one, I noticed the sabre second... so good that you showed the still-life before. 😏
Lady Élisse Duchaard of Brionne, a Grail Damsel. By Gred.🎨🖌️
This is one of the best Bretonnian art pieces that I've ever seen. I love the clash of colours and all the little details included in this painting. Lady Élisse is giving the Beastmen some hard time!🧙♀️⚜️

17th century Sweden was a formidable military power, invading many lands.
Polish movie The Deluge (1974) made an epic portrayal of the Swedish army that invaded Poland in 1655, using many extras.
All the important people from the Empire on a single picture? Sign me up! This is obviously a nod the popular Viltrumite team photo meme from the "Invincible" TV show.📺
Artist unknown. If anyone is aware of who created this, post their name in the comment below.👇

Rest in peace to John Blanche. The artist who defined Warhammer 40k. He was legitimately a visionary and creative genius.
Take today to look at his works, there's nothing else like them. A very sad day indeed.
The Wonder of the Age (Land Ship) & Manann‘s Blades 🛞🚢🛞
“Created by the forges of Nuln for the Guild masters of Marienburg, this prototype has had no expense spared on its finery or munitions.”
After a full year of work, we have finally completed my Land Ship. I went with the Marienburg color scheme and added an Empire Mortar inspired by The Wonder of the Age from Total War: Warhammer III.
The Land Ship is one of my favorite Warhammer models. To make it better reflect my own interpretation of the “Renaissance-style golden splendor” of the Empire as depicted in the 8th-edition artwork, I added a large number of decorative elements taken from other kits.
