"Kamala isn't flawed! America is flawed!"
Yes, America IS flawed. We've been flawed from the start and that isn't going to change. Yet, we're still a nation of freedom and opportunity unlike any other. Her loss doesn't diminish the greatness of our nation.
@TheLeoTerrell@NikkiHaley@Mike_Pence This is why the MAGA movement is so unpopular, even if Trump won. Why would we want Trump to have a bunch of “yes men” around him. Nikki Haley and Mike Pence are amazing and we’d be lucky for them to be in his administration.
The most uncomfortable/courageous speech in history was given by a 4 ft 11 in Catholic nun at The National Prayer Breakfast in 1994.
The speaker, was Saint Mother Teresa. To her right were the Clinton’s. To her left the Gore’s.
Chilling quotes from her speech 🧵
@Dom_2k The Puerto Rico comment was unclassy and rude. You know what’s worse than that? Calling half the country KKK.
Have we forgotten how evil Hitler and Americas KKK were? The comparison is insulting.
@jasonllevin This is such a terrible line of attack. You are arguing that they should stay because they are a good form of cheap labor.
Raise the minimum wage to $17/hour… except for the illegal immigrants who are working here because we want our prices to be lower.
Do you hear yourself?
Hate Trump. Be my guest. I don’t care. I don’t personally like the guy either.
Don’t call him Hitler. Hitler was responsible for the death of 10 million people. It is disrespectful to those who were murdered by him.
It is incomprehensible to me to compare the two when the magnitude of evil that was Hitler is something this world had never seen.
@EricLDaugh This quote was taken out of context. He said that his gut was that it was going for Trump because of the recent news cycle, and then proceeds to say that gut feelings don’t predict outcomes, even his own.
Best way for Trump to win over undecided voters on @joeroganhq podcast: Admit mistakes were made during COVID and apologize for his role in the harm caused to millions.
My assessment of Harris’ interview with Bret Baier tonight:
1) In terms of dissuading claims that Kamala Harris can’t speak on the cuff about issues, she did well. Whether you disagree or not with the content of what she was saying, she spoke well
2) Her main tactic was to deflect all criticisms to Trump. For critical questions regarding her policies, she failed to respond directly but attacked Trump instead. If pressed, she responded “we will follow the law”. That’s all fine but as VP you aren’t just a follower of the law, you sign it into being.
3) Claims that Bret Baier was rude are untrue. He was heavy handed with the interrupting at times, but this was in large part to Harris’ long winded responses.
Overall, anyone telling you this was a disaster for Kamala isn’t being honest, nor those who claim it a victory for her. By and large, she did well enough to be able to claim she did an interview in a hostile environment and not much will change.
