The Zhuangyuan Zongzi from Longmu Mountain in Yejia Village of Sanmen is also known as the Bijia Zongzi.
Crafted with three pieces of indocalamus leaves, it forms a distinctive triple‑pen‑rack shape, different from ordinary four‑corner zongzi. It symbolizes blessings for academic success, wealth and good health. Legend goes that a scholar won the highest imperial title after eating one, hence its name.
