Reason why hoshi got braces again:
Because he had a headache then turns out it was TMJ related issues. So hoshi went to he dentist and turns out the his teeth when he did braces when he was young are shifting again, which causes the headache. So the dentist told him to get the braces again so he did!
(Also 턱관절 explantion)
I’ll reply this thru QRT so everyone can see.
But to answer your question: unfortunately, yes.
Disclaimer: I am not the best at Taxation, however, because I manage artists this is definitely something we do at my work and if it’s already staggering to local artists, what more for an international act.
(🙏🏼 CPA friends, please correct me if I am wrong 🙏🏼 Taxation is fucking hard! 😭)
Apart from the 12% Value Added Tax that the artist agency needs to pay, there’s also 5-10% Withholding Tax and also 10% Amusement Tax in which the promoters pay to the Local Government Unit of where the concert venue is.
All of these taxes in order to compensate for these, the promoters propose a seat plan off of the original seat plan of the artist agency that is tailored to fit the local venue and the promoters propose the prices of the tickets. That’s why our prices for tickets for international acts most especially here the PH is really expensive.
The taxes will be deducted from the profits of the concert. It depends on the deal between the promoter and the artist agency if they will split the revenue before or after tax.
For example, if the concert earned 10 Million Pesos and the deal is that the promoter and artist agency will split the revenue after paying all of the taxes required—both parties can only take home 5 Million each to pay off their people (for promoters: venue rental, equipment, manpower, operations; for artist agency: artist talent fee, overhead costs [hair & make up, styling, band.) However if the deal is that the two parties will split the revenue before paying taxes, both parties will take home lesser than 5 Million each because they will have to individually pay the taxes from their profit.
There is an article about taxes in the PH for concerts posted 3 years ago, not as technical as what I did, however it does confirm that our tax situation in the PH is not it compared to our neighboring countries: https://t.co/omF4yFHvWu
his mindset 🥺
🐱 as I said earlier, its been 11 years since we debuted as a group.. and i was joking just now saying that the number 11 is a bit hard to rmbr, so maybe we can just subtract 10 and treat it as the first year of our debut again.. going back to the mindset we had in that very first year.. I hope this new start brings everyone a different perspective
🐱 including me too, honestly I feel like there isn’t a huge difference compared to the past ten years, bc during those ten years I’ve always been doing what I want to do and working hard for my dreams
🐱 and actually, I’ve already achieved a lot of my dreams! and while doing that, I’ve also come up with new ones! I hope I can accomplish these new dreams in my 30s
🐱 the road ahead is still long, and I’ve always had your company along the way.. tysm! I’m really lucky to have you all
