To those celebrating St. Patrick's Day across Canada. Have fun. I don't mind you celebrating your culture that you brought from your country of origin here in Canada. Your parades are inconvenient but don't bother me. I assume you'll extend the same courtesy to me. :)
on my 26th birthday, i wrote I Took A Pill in Ibiza...11 years ago. The song became popular several years after i wrote it.
This year I celebrated my 37th birthday. I feel proud to look at the song lyrics and know that NONE of them are true anymore. I've grown into a completely new man...one that i'm proud of. check this out...
With a heavy heart I asked other disaster managers that worked the #JasperWildfire straight up why mutual aid from Edmonton and larger departments like St Albert and Red Deer was not requested (I was with EFRS at the time and know for a fact we had trucks ready to go... Trucks and crews that would have made a difference in the WUI). I was told first hand that it was the province that waited. That botched it. That refused to provide the most basic level of mutual aid until it was too late. We were sent to mop up an already devastated town.
Jasper is not the one that needs to apologize...

The Jasper Wildfire review is damningly clear about one thing: the UCP government exploited a life-and-death moment to play political games.
And in their response to this report, rather than accepting responsibility and promising to do better, they do what they always do: lash out, insult others, and refuse to accept any blame for their mistakes.

Danny Green:
“Nothing short of legendary for what’s he’s done for Canada. All the players, the coaches, they all loved him.”
“He was one of the best to recruit people there.”
“More shocked by the fact that they didn’t give him an opportunity to get Giannis.”
🚨WATCH: "But that's pretty ironic, given that, despite not getting re-elected, Mr. Speaker, Pierre Poilievre continues to live in taxpayer-funded government housing." - Adam van Koeverden (@vankayak)

Somehow it’s been 20 years since I was diagnosed with cancer, and 18 years since I was declared cancer-free. It’s crazy having lived more of my life as someone that’s had cancer than not, but also crazy to see where life has gone since. Through chemo, and surgeries and hip replacements and more than anyone should ever experience, all I’ve had is support, of which I’m forever grateful. Thank you and never stop fighting. ❤️
The question I answered was about reducing the price of a family’s current home, which for most Canadians, is their most valuable asset.
The question wasn’t “should homes be more affordable?” Of course they should. Vancouver led the country on co-ops, rental-only zoning,
When/if Pierre Poilievre returns to the HOC, he'd better not ever try to talk about wasteful government spending again, after we payed for his loser, unemployed ass to squat in Stornoway while he waits for a do-over. Pierre IS government waste.
#BREAKING:
Pierre Poilievre has already spent more time knocking on doors in his new Alberta riding than he ever did in Carleton - promises to try for 2 houses tomorrow.
