You may be surprised by how many of your family members are eligible to join. Curious about aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews? They’re not eligible directly through you, but would be through your parents or siblings once they become Members: https://t.co/76mqEj1gKB
They locked down our churches and restaurants
Caged us in our houses
Prohibited family from coming over
And now they’re deleting our ability to talk freely on social media
This isn’t about a virus
This is about making sure we can’t discuss their corruption

Even 4th graders love it when you Zoom with their work up on a virtual background. #remotelearning can’t replace the classroom but we can mimic it as best we can. This moment brought a little joy to my 4th graders and to me. Plus it gets them to turn in their work on time.
@jmattmiller I wonder if districts will bring back ed tech/digital learning TOSAs. Will pedagogy coupled with tech literacy finally be a priority? Will UDL become a focus?

So exited and honored to be presenting at #ISTE20 on my two favorite pieces of tech. Can’t wait to chat about how my love for @EpicKidsBooks and @Flipgrid changed my classroom and how they can change yours.

@MsWteaches That’s what I am trying to figure out right now. I want to do a read aloud but it can be time consuming - I feel like I don’t have enough time to do both.
Also, do kids follow along in the book? What do you have them do during the read aloud - how do you keep them accountable?
@MsWteaches@andominguez@AlysonGerber I just ordered it! Thank you for the recommendation. I am gonna read it first. When you do a read aloud do you give lessons on specific comprehension standards?
Check out these recording studios! Students place their #iPad inside the box to record a video. The foam helps to block out some extra noise and enhance the audio. These would be great for #Flipgrid! #RISDconnects#RISDgreatness
I will not think about school today.
I will not think about school today.
I will not think about school today.
I will not think about...hey that’s a good idea for a lesson.
Testing is not teaching.
Data is not learning.
We can’t test to proficiency.
But we can teach them the power of learning.
We can show them the power of their thoughts.
We can give their voice space.
