WASPI support'Women against state pension inequality'!
@PHSOmbudsman@WASPI_Campaign it's saved the public purse 👛 my point being that money has been otherwise used! NI has over time come to depend on more being paid into it, another tax in my view! NI also depends on how much you earn, increasing in tiers. A saving 2 add 6yrs to SP age ⚖️
DWP boss @MelJStride due to face questions on State Pension age compensation for #WASPI women. Anger among #1950swomen mounts as delay continues. This is another scandal that government is trying to sweep under the carpet.

Thanks to everyone who came along to my meeting in Cramlington last night. It was great to see the @NewcastleWaspi group there. I fully support their ongoing fight for compensation.
Question topics ranged from the Northumberland Line to who would win in a fight between Thatcher and Lord Voldemort! A great vibe in the room. Everyone wants to see the North East put first, and nobody believes that will come from Westminster.

Thanks for meeting @fneil35 and myself James. We were happy to detail the plight of ##WASPI women & your reaction, like so many, was to be shocked at how many women are affected & how devastating the consequences have been. Your support to #commitforfaircompensation is appreciated
“There is no sense of urgency in government on this matter at the moment. Cross party we’ve got to create that sense of urgency” said @johnmcdonnellMP. We need to see that sense of urgency in both the govt and @UKLabour opposition. #WASPI
#WASPI there are 3 clear questions for the UK Government to answer. Women affected by state pension increases should be compensated without further delay, WASPI women must be afforded justice and dignity. #FairandFastCompensation
Mae menywod WASPI wedi cael eu methu’n llwyr gan y wladwriaeth
@BenMLake yn annog Llywodraeth y DU i ddigolledu menywod a aned yn y 1950au am yr arian sy'n ddyledus iddynt a'r niwed emosiynol a achoswyd

These really are three key questions about compensation for #WASPI women that @PaulMaynardUK needs to answer. Thank you for asking them @joannaccherry. It’s a pity the Minister’s reply was considerably less clear than the questions .
Women who planned for their pension and even retired at 60, then found they could not access their pension, could not afford their mortgage and became homeless! #Pensions need planning. #WASPI
“There is no sense of urgency in government on this matter at the moment. Cross party we’ve got to create that sense of urgency” said @johnmcdonnellMP today. @WASPI_Campaign has always worked cross party and will continue to do so until this historic injustice is righted.
⚖️ Fair and fast compensation for the 1950s women
📈 3.8 million women affected up and down the UK
🗣️ "Yet again, I say, pay that compensation and step up to the plate."

I had the honour of standing with the WASPI Glasgow women at the Mary Barbour statue to observe International Women's Day. Today in Westminster Hall I emphasised that it is high time #waspiwomen receive the compensation they deserve. ✊💜https://t.co/2UPDxE0t7X
In a debate this morning, I spoke about the 8000 #WASPI women in #Somerton & #Frome, many of whom have been in touch with me.
If the government genuinely cares about these women, it must commit to compensating them as soon as the ombudsman's final report is published.
Women from 50's have all been affected by State Pension age changes, they were the cohort who were impacted the most by 5yrs added, then a further year added many without notice of these changes. ⚖️🐝⚖️🐝⚖️ Justice awaited! https://t.co/yCbwG3n3Yn
