i was in college at like the height of lean in feminism and there was so much discussion abt how women should be just as loud as men in class/workplaces, not use modifiers/apologize too much...but over time i just wish men used more modifiers and apologies lol

A thing I often think is missing from the uni discourse is that young people who aren't from a pretty wealthy (/academic/high cultural capital) background actually have no idea what jobs there are except the quite obvious ones
