Agreed. The murder of civilians is appalling, and cannot be condoned. It is also so important to remember that the militant extremists who comprise Hamas, are not the Palestinian people, and Israel should not make the Palestinian people bear the brunt of retaliation. Palestinians have suffered enough.
De-escalation and a concerted international push from both the Arab world and the West toward a permanent, peaceful resolution is the only hope. When both sides believe they are fighting a holy war and that God is on their sides, the results are catastrophic for the innocents caught in the middle.
#SPNFamily: Johnny Mac, #SPN's Director & Assistant Director, sadly passed away. He AD'd 106 eps! If you love #Supernatural, it's in part because of him. Here's a GoFund me to handle family expenses, please kick in if you can. Love to Mel & the kids.

The vast majority of SAG-AFTRA & WGA members are working actors & writers who live paycheck to paycheck. Nobody wants to strike—it makes life harder for everyone. But the world is changing & the industry needs to keep up so people can be reasonably compensated for their work.
What #SAGAFTRA and the #WGA are asking for is reasonable. Please stand with us. #SAGAFTRAStrong #WGAStrong #SAGAFTRAstrike
I'm in Vermont at the moment. This house stood on its foundation for 200 years until this week. All around the world, we’re seeing devastation. Record floods. Record droughts. Record heat and record fires… and it's only getting worse. @JoeBiden’s climate legislation went a long way, but it's only the beginning.
We have to take this seriously.
This week, the Trump-appointed Supreme Court ruled that it’s not okay for private or public institutions to level the playing field for people of color with affirmative action, but they also ruled that it IS okay for private institutions to discriminate against the LGBTQIA community. On this last day of #Pride month, I’m just pledging to do my part to keep fighting for equity, to keep fighting to make this society we can be proud of.
(Also, Cas is gay.) 🌈

The Trump Supreme Court just ruled against affirmative action at colleges. This will mean far fewer black students on campus. Period. When my white mother turned 18 and voted for the first time, millions of her black contemporaries in America were still prevented from going to the polls in many Southern States. The Voting Rights Act had not yet been passed. That was one generation ago. To argue that hundreds of years of systematic racial oppression doesn't impact present day USA is blind to reality (or it's simply racist). People who say voting doesn't matter, consider this: If Trump hadn't been elected, the Supreme Court would not have made it harder for states to regulate guns, would not have taken away access to abortion and would not have ended affirmative action on campuses. Now more kids are getting shot, women who miscarry are at risk of being charged for murder, and we will see a very large drop in diversity at the world's best universities. For the sake of our civilization and for future generations. Register to vote, pledge to vote, and make sure your friends do, too.
I implore you: watch this week’s episode of #CWGothamKnights. The last scene tees up next week’s episode, which I demand you watch. (Pretty please. With sugar on top?)

The Catholic church quietly condoned the sexual abuse of children for decades, but conservative, "Christian" republicans don't seem to care because they are too focused on making sure LGBTQ kids can't attend their high-school proms.
It's time we focused on the real threats.
