Joining a startup fresh out of uni was the best decision I made.
Here’s why:
1. I have nothing to unlearn
Being new meant no corporate habits. No “this is how it’s done.” That made learning somewhat easier.
2. I am surrounded by hungry people
Ambition is contagious. Being around people who move fast and raise the bar daily brought out my own fire to keep up and push further.
3. I can optimise for growth, not comfort
I had little to lose. Early career is the only time risk is cheapest and learning compounds fastest.
4. I have no playbook
Uni had a set curriculum; a startup didn’t. I wasn’t just following instructions. I made calls, owned outcomes, and created solutions.
5. I define where I fit
Uni taught me where I might fit. In a startup, nothing is fixed. I got to explore, experiment, and define where I could truly make an impact.
I’m glad I started at @ManusAI 🙌
Yes, you heard it right! Your tasks on @ManusAI Desktop now consume 50% fewer credits!!🤩
Try any of these ✨PROMPTS✨below to get started cos it’s the perfect chance to build your dream desktop app:

Windows:
"Based on my desktop, use Python language to develop a [XX] app. Considering that you can only access my terminal and folders, please use the terminal to complete the entire application development, debugging and packaging work. Features of [XX] desktop app:..."
Remember to link a local folder!
With these prompts, I’ve built a real-time meeting translator, simple OCR tool, productivity app and more. Can’t wait to see what you guys build!
Manus just went local!! :0
My Computer is now live on the new Manus Desktop app

Ran the use cases myself in the video and it's pretty lit! Excited to see what everyone else does with it!
Today, we're taking Manus out of the cloud and putting it on your desktop.
Introducing My Computer, the core feature of the new Manus Desktop app. It’s your AI agent, now on your local machine.
didn’t receive a good morning text today, just a link
opened it, and it turned out to be a little game he made for vday
long distance hasn’t been the easiest, so every meetup feels a little more meaningful than it used to. he’s flying back for vday this year, but smh still went the extra mile to do something thoughtful before we meet🥹
and honestly, the best part was the random photos of our cats popping up throughout the game haha
happy early vday everyone!!❤️
Had brunch with my friend yesterday and I was sharing about my current obsession with strawberry cloud matcha latte. She asked for the recipe, but I felt it might be too boring if I just sent her in text.
So I created a little set of cute, aesthetic illustrated recipe cards with @ManusAI instead.
I mean if I’m sharing something I love (especially food hehe), it has to be fun and pretty!
[Recipe from online btw, with a few tweaks to suit my own taste]
I remember seeing this tweet: ask not what your AI can do for you. Ask what you can do for your AI.
Try asking things like: What information was missing or unclear in my instructions? How could I have structured my request to get a better result faster?
Basically how can I help you help me?
Have you personalized Manus?
A great assistant remembers your preferences, understand your context, and anticipate your needs.
AI should be a true extension of your own expertise and standards.
What information would you consider providing to make your AI more useful?
someone told me yesterday that when they feel nervous about trying something new & their heart starts beating really fast, that they call it their “inner applause” because their body is cheering them on, and i think that’s the best narrative adjustment ever.
@denk_tweets I hope you ain’t manually sending those daily invites but if you are, maybe try using @ManusAI to connect to Gmail and schedule the email to go out everyday. Set it once. Haunt him forever🤣
@zarazhangrui Agreed, context matters. Half the time you don’t even realize what you left out. It’s like yelling at a GPS instead of checking where you actually want to go
First time on X and it's been <4 days. Feels kinda different. Can’t quite explain it yet, but the vibes are not IG or TT
Am I imagining this or do you feel it too? How is X different for you? Just genuinely curious to find out👀
I use Slack every day to chat, share ideas, and send work to my team. I use Manus to create the things we need like reports, slides, spreadsheets, etc.
Usually, I would have to copy, paste, or download files just to share them on Slack.
But yayy with the Slack Connector, everything happens in ONE flow. E.g. I can have Manus pull together my research and send it straight to the channel😆🙌
I love nature journaling but always wished I could connect with others who do the same 🍄📷
@bernoid's fungi sketches inspired me so much that I tried building an app with @ManusAI for naturalists who want to share their trails:
👉Upload the photo AND your journal page sketch
👉Let others follow your exact paths
👉Community feed of recent sightings
The journal stays physical! But this app connects people with what you've found and your spreads
