This is what a healthy competition on #XRPL looks like. Instead of focusing on innovation, @xrpcafe has resorted to active attacks out of insecurity. And this is not the first time.
1. If you're truly facing a DDoS attack, it's worth considering whether someone is trying to gain access to your users' keys. The way @First_Ledger handles account storage introduces significant risk - if their system goes down, so do their users. That's something to think about.
2. You might argue that you allow private key export, but realistically, not many users create proper backups. While you're offline, their funds are essentially frozen.
At XPMarket, our development team has a strong background in FinTech and wallet security. We fully understand the risks involved when handling users' funds. Relying on a hobby project to manage something as critical as wallet security simply doesn’t cut it. A professional, robust approach is the minimum standard, and frankly, we expect no less.
3. Forcing users into a single, inflexible wallet while claiming to unite the ecosystem is both misleading and reckless. Locking everything into a high-risk infrastructure without considering broader accessibility is a disservice to the community and the ecosystem.
4. It’s entertaining to see how they cheer inflated user numbers (insert meme "people who don't know vs those who know). When setting up a meme token or AMM, at least three wallets are involved per transaction, meaning their “unique active users” figure is, in reality, around 66% lower. This is also the true for Volume. A beautiful, but unethical, way to exploit knowledge gap of your audience.
And let’s not forget, @MagneticXRPL was DDoSed just days ago. Should we now accuse First Ledger of organising this, just because they felt threatened by a stronger competitor? Personal attacks seem to be a pattern for them - first targeting us and myself, now aiming at Magnetic. Who will they go after next? Choose wisely who you associate with in this ecosystem.
P.S. The original post has been deleted by @AlexCobb_ . But the point stands. Accusations were dropped, no apology was provided. Again, a pattern.
