767 days ago I bought my first shark cats.
I didn’t know it at the time but I had stumbled upon my spiritual identity.
It’s hard to explain the special place the shark cat has in my heart.
But, it’s often joked about within my family and by my wife (light heartedly ofc, she’s my literal best friend)
my oldest son has even given me hand drawn shark cats for two years in a row on my birthday and Father’s Day.
I have on several occasions went to adult events in my shark cat shirt lmao
I drink coffee most mornings out of my shark cat mug and have nala in her shark cat plushie on my desk along with the actual shark cat hat in my closet on one of my shelves lol
There is just something about shark cat I can’t really explain but it draws me in a way nothing ever has in my entire life.
It’s light, it’s care free and it’s just a beautiful idea.
I remember when shark cat first launched.
I remember the fear of selling too soon, I remember the remorse of feeling like I may never be able to get those shark cats back. I remember wishing for a second chance at accumulation.
I’m thankful it was granted to me because as delusional as it sounds I’d rather have less fiat and more shark cats.
I more or less feel the same about shark cat as I did two years ago.
I have definitely had moments of weakness because Memecoin volatility is absolutely brutal but I have to follow my heart and stay true to myself no matter what.
That means staying true to the mf shark and the beautiful sharks still swimming.
Love is a wild thing.
I’ve been blessed to find it in abundance IRL and in this special place - the shark cat that we call home on the inter webs.
