Day 30 of books I love: Madeline Miller's SONG OF ACHILLES is not an underground title, nor is it a romance. Rather, it's a modern retelling of some of the Iliad. It plays up the queerness, shunning interpretations that paint Patroclus and Achilles as "just friends."

Day 29 of books I love: A LADY FOR A DUKE by Alexis Hall. Sure, Hall's other books are more popular, and there are other writers who have trans women leads, but this was my first book with a trans leading lady, so it holds a special place.
