Six workers die of toxic fumes during sanitation work in Tamil Nadu in 10 days. All of them preventable deaths. All of them died because there werent’ basic safety measures/equipment in place.

On 2 October, Ramachandran, a resident of Sendurai in Ariyalur district, and Bhaskar and Dinakaran, both from Tiruvarur district, died after inhaling toxic gas while constructing a septic tank in Gandhi Nagar, Sendurai.
