So, this is goodbye, I guess. I thought about deactivating my twitter account, but this is the only sex-positive space on the internet that I have, so I'm going to keep it around for now.
Also, unless you are a famous sex blogger getting products for free in exchange for review, sex toy collecting is a hobby that requires a LOT of money to support. It also requires a safe living situation where you have privacy and/or can be open about what you do. I have neither.
We’re often branded as having ‘challenging behaviours’ by non-autistics.
#AskingAutistics
What behaviours do non-autistics have that you find challenging?
@elisabeth For me all anxiety is anticipatory by definition, but I don't know if "anxiety" is actually the right word. Either way I've experienced that!
@clue Even bigger question: why do we need a specific brand of gloves, that are PINK, to protect us against our own blood? If you don't want to touch it, fine, but you can just use ordinary disposable gloves from the supermarket?! Oh wait, can't do that...cause they're not PINK...🤦
Does anyone know of a resource about how to engage with sex workers, that would be suitable for someone with mild social difficulties due to autism? (Please RT)
@IntellectHomo I hear you. Vulnerability is hard, and bigotry in the blogging community hasn't helped. It's part of the reason I haven't been blogging as much
@SpaceDigitalist I much prefer watching people play games to playing them myself! It's kinda like watching a movie. Might just be because my cognitive dysfunction makes gameplay hard though
