Today we had a fabulously, delicious African heritage lunch. It was blustery outside and warm inside with great conversation and tasty food.

Our Grade 4’s and 5’s researched a person who inspired them that was also a fine example of Black Excellence. One of our young girls was so excited to learn about the honourable Dr.Jean Augustine. Thank you@jeanaugustine07 for being such a great role model.

Today we learned about Nigerian heritage in kindergarten. We are looking pretty beautiful too.

Be still my heart. One of our littlest guys was having a hard time. One of our older students took him under his wing. He walked him back to class and had him smiling and laughing. We have such great kids and wonderful leaders!
