Our first state qualifiers of the day, boys 4x800 meter team of Ryan Ewing, Jonathan Stetchock, Luke Snider, and Isaiah Bitner placed 6th with a time of 7:59.94
SCHOOL RECORD ALERT!!!! Junior Jonathan Stetchock broke the school record in the 3200 meters placing 3rd with an incredible time of 9:23.65 and will be advancing to the state meet next weekend!
Chesnee Smith placed second in the 800 meters with an outstanding time of 2:14.42, second fastest time in program history, and will be headed to states!

Congrats to the Hempfield Area Boys XC team for placing 3rd at today’s Spiked Shoe Invitational at Penn State University! Juniors Ryan Ewing (17th) & Jonathan Stetchock (19th) finished in the Top 20. And congratulations to junior Chesnee Smith for finishing 16th in the Girls 5K.
