ADHD 101:
ADHD stands for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. It’s a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects both kids and adults, impacting their ability to regulate their attention, behavior, and activity level.
There are three main types of symptoms:
- *Inattention*: difficulty paying attention, staying focused, and following through on tasks
- *Hyperactivity*: excessive movement, restlessness, and fidgeting
- *Impulsivity*: acting on impulse, interrupting others, and blurting out answers
