@Kushagerchess If you keep having problems, please send me your email address/account information/linked profiles or whatever to identify all accounts (as private message or via mail). Then I'll look into it.
@Kushagerchess Hi! There were two accounts (one email, one OAuth). I've merged them now. You might need to logout/re-login and then should see that you have the Plus plan. There is no device limit.
@HansMokeNiemann@anishgiri@ChessbaseIndia Game data is stored in a form our systems can search so the analysis features work, with access restricted to our server. Your uploaded games are private to your account, never shared (unless you make them public/share them), and you can export or delete them at any time. (2/2)
@HansMokeNiemann@anishgiri@ChessbaseIndia Sure! Unlike most other services, we actually own the server hardware. So your data is operated in a data center in Germany (Aachen) on our own hardware (not on AWS or a third-party cloud). Traffic is encrypted. Passwords are hashed and unrecoverable. Backups are encrypted. (1/2)
@Darlington68152@anishgiri Hi! Looks like it should be finished now. The initial download of that many games can actually take 10-12 minutes. If you update your profile in the future, though, it should only take seconds.
Good to hear (and see!) our ChessMonitor app is being actively used at the tournament to look up our opponents.
Vidit bought the plus subscription, there is even a video of that, but that's for another time.๐ฟ
@FlavioCorpa@anishgiri We haven't added this functionality to app yet, as most feedback regarding this was that people would prep on the computer anyway and only open it on mobile. But thanks for the feedback, we might consider adding it to the app.
@FlavioCorpa@anishgiri Thanks for the explanation. Yes, this is currently one of the features available on web, but not in the app (yet). So you can do your research on the computer, star the profile and open it on app.
@FlavioCorpa@anishgiri Thanks! Give us an update how it went! :) But not sure I understand you here. If you have starred him, you can just click on his profile. What do you want to add?
@ChessLobster@anishgiri Yes, as it's coming from an external service (ChessCom) we treat it as "unconfirmed" and do not use it as identifier for your account basically, unless you do so yourself by setting a password for your email here: https://t.co/JIrfHSrzrm
@ChessLobster@anishgiri Hi! Sorry this has happened. You have created two accounts (one via "Sign in via Chesscom" and one with email/password). I did just send you a mail with details on how we can refund you one. Sorry again! -Thomas
Update your ChessMonitor app and let us know what you think of the new live broadcast feature (powered by Lichess!!๐)
With fixed transpositions (finally, jeez) we now have a healthy backend to continue building the only website and app you will ever need for opening prep!
