Congratulation to Sloan MacKenzie and Katie Vincent! Sloan's #PortHood connection is her grandmother - Kaye (MacDonald) MacKenzie – daughter of Tena (Gillies) and Dan J. MacDonald. Sloan’s grand aunt is Anne (George) MacDougall of Harbourview.
Bronze medal for @CanoeKayakCAN Katie Vincent & Sloan MacKenzie.
Katie is now a two-time bronze medalist.
Sloan gets her first olympic medal at her first olympic games.
Katie says this medal is a testament to how hard they worked to get here.
