@HollywoodHandle Forgotten Island hasn't been released yet in parts of Europe and Asia. Btw I absolutely loved this film, a feast for the eyes and the soul

[Jobiangail @abiabipo]

Watch #forgottenisland people. It’s one of the best films you'll see. It will push and pull you, and mix your emotions. It will put you on suspense and then suckerpunch you into bawling your eyes out. @Dreamworks what a masterpiece.

#ForgottenIsland turned out to be one of the more substantially complex movies that DreamWorks has made in this day and age, and I'm not into Filipino representation! 🤣 It has sprinkles of Spider-Verse frame drops and 2D animation, but its story was mainly about remembrance. 😙

@uzidr0n3 I'm sorry that happened to you

i am half filipino, my dad and his family are immigrants from the philippines. my family has always made filipino culture so important in my life, especially my lolo (which means grandpa in tagalog). i’ve grown up learning so much of the culture and him teaching me about it, we are so close and i treasure him so much. he is 87 years old & i am taking him to see forgotten island right now & it is so special to me that i get to do this with him. he is so excited and i can’t wait to see this 🖤 representation matters always & it is so special that i get to experience this with him.

Painting Manang from #ForgottenIsland in her human form

Filipino folklore say the manananggal is capable of transforming into a beautiful woman to hide her true nature.

My kid’s been a precocious (and well-behaved) filmgoer, so I’ve taken her to pretty much every big family movie out since she’s been ~2.

FORGOTTEN ISLAND is probably my favorite movie we’ve seen together. Really beautiful and funny. *Large* fantasy ideas at a mile a minute.

[Connor Carey @ConnorMovies]

Loved this & it might be my favourite animated film of the year. A fast paced, stunningly animated, surprisingly mature & hilarious adventure filled to the brim with heart, a fantastic soundtrack & a strong emotional core. Loved how this explored its central themes. More to come

Engraçado, frenético, assustador e emocionante? Em Nakali, dá pra ser tudo isso ao mesmo tempo. Jo e Raissa estão aí pra provar! 💜
