@Sassynightnurse I have always had an APP consent for blood so that was just weird to me, never in four years did I have to consent a pt for blood because a provider did🤷🏻‍♀️

This could have been worded better. I was just absolutely baffled when I was handed a paper and told I had to go explain everything and have him sign the consent.

@nursesam2019 I’ve literally never done that in my four years of nursing. Idk if it’s because I got lucky or what but I was SHOCKED when they handed me the paper and told me to go do it.

@bassoonapillar The hospital I’m contracted to allows you to work as a Nurse Extern with a test date scheduled followed by a passed exam. The prior one you ciuld not enter their program until you had your license
