She spoke up about how indie crews are exploited, abused, and not protected in instances of success. And how she was persuaded to forgo union protection. All a worthwhile conversation.
@LukeBarnett It might hurt her career. It might also make other indie directors put a little extra effort into making their crews feel respected and take care of. Never going to shame someone for speaking up because it's not "strategic."
@seanward his purpose is to make something that audiences will pay to see. i have seen zero evidence that ai helps with that. ai compaies have pivoted to selling the the tools instead of the product the tools make, which seems telling.
