The roots of CowYum trace back to the deep south of Thailand, particularly in the provinces of Pattani, Yala, and Narathiwat. The name, Cow (ข้าว) meaning rice and Yum (ยำ) meaning salad, gives a simple yet accurate description of what the dish is a mixture centered around rice.
Pad Kra Pow (ผัดกะเพรา) is a classic Thai stir-fry dish featuring holy basil (kra pow), garlic, chili, and a choice of protein, often served over rice with a fried egg on top. It’s a staple of Thai street food and home cooking, known for its bold flavors and quick preparation.
Our crispy pork belly is getting crispier. We increased the surface of the crispy part of the pork belly. The belly was prepared 6 hours before storing and cooked before serving you.
We made this for lunch. I enjoyed it a lot. We can make a few orders for you if you swing by tonight. It is a stir-fried young jackfruit. It's best when pairing with sticky rice.
