My 9th Bluebonnet Book- I loved this mystery. The kids were determined and took risks in order to find out the truth regarding an artist and her missing art. Fictional story that has some facts about Harlem in the 60’s #WoodstoneReads
@jackiesgro I saw her interview on the Today show. I ordered it from Narnes & Noble. I mailed it to my mom to read. When I get it back from her I’ll bring it for you to read.
Interesting (and sad) book about the Amish culture and lifestyle. This girl shares the 18 years of her miserable life before she ran away from Missouri and her Amish community. She now lives in TX. #WoodstoneReads
Amazing story about a family in my hometown. A must read about the challenges an addict (opioid)and the family around the addict faces. We shouldn’t judge or shame them, but accept them and offer support. #WoodstoneReads
My 8th Bluebonnet book- great historical fiction book that gives you so many details about refugees traveling from Germany in 1939, Cuba in 1994, and Syria in 2015. Not sure I’d let 3rd or 4th graders read it because of sad details. #WoodstoneReads
Absolutely precious book- great interactive read-aloud. The two authors were elementary teachers in Seattle- would have loved being in their class! #woodstoneReads
Such a sweet book- new 2018 book- lessons- don’t judge someone based on how the look- you can be friends with others who aren’t like you #woodstoneReads
