🚨 BREAKING! Barstool's Dave Portnoy says he MIGHT RUN for ELECTION 🚨
"I might run against Mamdani… I feel like I could make a change." 🔥
"I've had a real job, I've done real things, unlike these clown politicians who have never had a job" 🔥
As if on cue, one week after a grim Father's Day weekend death toll, WTTW has a glowing story on community violence interrupters (CVIs).
Tens of millions in state, county and city tax dollars go to fund violence intervention non-profits.
Listen to a CVI describe the relationship with CPD:
"We get information from the police, but we don't give information to the police."
And why would CVIs not cooperate with CPD?
Because CVIs are gang members protecting gang members who have committed violent crimes.
Today, Alds. Lawson, Yancy, Lee, O'Shea, Conway, and Dowell all spoke about the "need to do something" about teen takeovers, but all six voted @RaymondALopez's measure down.
All six had the perfect opportunity to "do something" and all shunned their obligations to residents.
Don't forget this on Feb. 23, 2027.
If you aren't paying attention to the Board of Education elections, start.
Here is one big reason: Hilario Dominguez.
In an interview with WGN, Dominquez, who has been anointed by the CTU for BOE president, admits he will not consider closing underenrolled or underutilized CPS buildings if elected.
Rather than considering precious school funds wasted, Dominguez brazenly reveals how CTU's priority is preserving jobs at underenrolled schools when mentioning "cafeteria workers, crossing guards, and bus drivers."
This means schools such as Douglass Academy, which was built to accommodate 900 pupils but enrolls 28, would remain open if Dominguez were to be elected BOE president.
Operational spending per student at Douglass is $93,000. Not one single student enrolled at Douglass can read.
Today, 47 CPS schools operate at below a third of capacity.
Tens of millions could be saved if underused schools were consolidated or closed.
Blizzard of Incompetence - this is yet another major failure from a mayoral administration that has chased business, jobs and revenue out of Chicago.

Stacy and the Pope can talk about how she worked tirelessly to kill the Invest in Kids Act that led to the demise of many Chicagoland Catholic grade schools in and harmed poor children of color. 🤔
Anyone that voted for this man in 2023 should seek professional help. He’s a hall of fame grifter and gaslighter. Sickening misuse of taxpayer funds being used to send a “delegation” of communists and mayoral allies to meet the Pope. For zero tangible benefit to Chicago taxpayers
@MaryAnnAhernNBC@Pontifex How in god’s name does it make sense to send 45 Chicago communists to Rome to meet the pope instead of flying one catholic Pope to Chicago?
A GROTESQUE misuse of taxpayer funds. He purports to invest in Chicago but does the exact opposite on the regular.
This is all coded language for "jails and incarceration, and law enforcement is a sickness."
Let's not forget this buffoon couldn't maintain control over a classroom of middle-schoolers.
You are to JB Pritzker what Kamala Harris was to Joe Biden: An unaccomplished DEI hire.
If elected to the U.S. Senate, you will become Illinois' version of Jasmine Crockett, an obnoxious, foul-mouthed partisan.
Chicago’s grand experiment with city government run by a CTU flunky has been a calamity.
Even we couldn't have predicted the damage @ChicagosMayor would have inflicted on this city.
Ald. Ray Lopez today:
"Lost in all of this is that we had over 2 dozen people shot in the City of Chicago this Memorial Day Weekend despite spending hundreds of millions of dollars on anti-violence measures."
"Leadership is failing in this city right now."
Lopez is right: @ChicagosMayor will never support any form of legal penalties for those who engage in mob actions.
@ChicagosMayor More CPD blood on your hands. You are Chicago's #1 Public Safety threat . You allow this stupidity to continue to exact revenge against those who oppose you. Your political eradication date is fast approaching
NEW: Chicago Teachers Union political director Hilario Dominguez is running for school board president.
He’s already under fire over allegations of discrimination and sexual harassment.
Per the Chicago Tribune ⬇️
In November 2021, a fellow employee accused Domínguez of discrimination and sexual harassment, according to records obtained by the Tribune through a Freedom of Information Act request.
Records show the employee said Domínguez repeatedly made a Nazi salute and called them “Hitler” in front of students. According to records, when the employee asked him to stop, they said he responded, “What? You think any of these (expletive) kids know history?”
Domínguez had also questioned the employee about their sexual orientation, the employee alleged. The employee was interviewed by a district investigator but ultimately withdrew the complaint, records show.
Domínguez was never disciplined.
