BREAKING:
A new deadly Nipah virus outbreak has been reported in India with 5 people infected in West Bengal, including 2 nurses in critical condition, and 100 people quarantined
The virus spreads rapidly, has a mortality rate of about 75%, and there is no treatment or vaccine
Thailand govt destroying Lord Vishnu’s statue is a truly shameful act. Are they fighting with Cambodia or Hinduism?
Such actions may impact the centuries-old civilizational and cultural relationship between India and Thailand, built on mutual respect and shared heritage.

Destroying a Hindu deity’s statue under the pretext of a border dispute is unacceptable. Whether placed by Cambodia or not, attacking faith and heritage only exposes intolerance.
Both Thailand and Cambodia are Buddhist nations, yet history records repeated persecution of Hindu temples and attempts to erase them. Violence against sacred symbols cannot be whitewashed with slogans. No religion proves its “peace” by destroying another’s faith.
Hon’ble PM @narendramodi Ji,
Hon’ble HM @AmitShah Ji, @RSSorg
Not only is the Thai Air Force dropping bombs in Battambang today, strikes are also hitting O’Chrov District, injuring this young girl.
This follows remarks by Anutin Charnvirakul, who said the aim of Thailand’s military action was “to disable Cambodia’s military capability for a long time.”
Placed alongside airstrikes deep inside Cambodia and civilian injuries, that statement is not abstract. It describes intent, and it matches what is now happening on the ground.
🇰🇭😡🇭😡😡️😠The vicious and unforgivable actions of Thai soldiers, utilizing F-16 fighter jets to mercilessly bomb innocent Cambodian civilians and children near the Cambodian-Thai border, have led to the tragic loss of lives and injuries of numerous innocent individuals, as well as the forced displacement of hundreds of thousands of refugees.
Anutin’s latest post is defiant and reckless. It projects certainty and force at a moment that demands restraint. Publicly framing military escalation as resolved and justified inflames tensions rather than containing them.
The comment section is worse. Thousands of replies filled with dehumanization, nationalist rage, mockery of national leaders, and open calls for violence. Hate compounds quickly when it is validated from the top.
When leaders speak this way, the result is deeper division, greater risk to civilians, and a narrowing path away from further escalation.
As Cambodia grows, Siam sees a threat to its economy, driven by the fear of losing its competitive edge to us; this mindset is exceptionally malicious/evil.
Thai soldiers have encroached at least 200 metres into Cambodian territory, erecting barbed wire fences and cutting off six Cambodian families from their homes in Prey Chan village, O Beichoan commune, Ou Chrov district, Banteay Meanchey province.
Out of respect for the ceasefire and to ensure the safety of local citizens, Cambodian forces have not responded with violence, as they await instructions from the national level, according to provincial governor Oum Reatrey.
It’s disgusting that we got dragged in to their political game; a game that cause both nation’s lost.
And again to satisfy a group of people, they risk their civilian who live a long the borderline to invade their Neighbour country.

Cambodia Urges Global Action to Halt Thai ‘Planned Aggression’
PHNOM PENH--The Cambodian National Defense Ministry called on the international community on August 3 to take immediate action to prevent the Thai side from pursuing its planned aggression.
The call was made after receiving information at 10:49 a.m. on the same day that the Thai military, working with local authorities, directed civilians in the Surin Province border area to evacuate by tonight.
The Spokesperson of the Ministry of National Defense of the Kingdom of Cambodia would like to inform the general public and the international community that, according to received information at 10:49 a.m. on 3 August 2025, the Thai military, in cooperation with Thai authorities, has instructed its remaining civilians in the border area of Surin Province to evacuate by tonight.
The same sources also confirmed that the Thai military plans to launch attacks along the border starting from the Tamone Thom Temple, Ta Krabey Temple, Preah Vihear Temple, up to the Anseh area. These attacks are expected to commence soon, prior to the scheduled meeting of the Extraordinary Meeting of the General Border Committee (GBC) on 7 August 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
This planned offensive constitutes a violation of the territorial sovereignty of Cambodia before the GBC meeting, and it is a serious breach of the ceasefire agreement mutually agreed upon by both countries on 28 July 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, with Malaysia, the United States, and China as witnesses.
Cambodia appeals to the international community to help prevent this at all costs and urges the Thai side to immediately stop its planned aggression, if this information is true, and to respect the ceasefire agreement fully for the sake of peace and stability along the border areas of both countries and the entire region.
Press Release from the Spokesperson of theMinistry of National Defense of the Kingdom of Cambodia , Phnom Penh, 3 August 2025
I just got breaking news from Cambodia Defense Ministy. Thai military plan to launch another attack along the border.
Here once again we have to suffer the invasion, because they don’t respect the ceasefire agreement.
