In this video, I build a full retro sneakers e-commerce platform called Shu.
I compare how @OpenAI’s GPT-5.3 Codex stacks up against @AnthropicAI’s Opus 4.6 using @cursor_ai
We compare cost, build time, technical execution and design.
The results are honestly mind-blowing.
NEWS: Ferrari has just released the first interior images of the company’s first-ever all-electric supercar, called the Ferrari Luce.
• Designed with Apple's former head of design, Jony Ive
• Four-door four-seater
• 122 kWh battery (gross)
• 330 miles of range (European rating methods)
• 1000 horsepower
• 0-60mph: Under 2.5s
• Four electric motors
• OLED screens
• Guess cluster screen is made up of several layers. By cutting out holes in the upper layers, Ferrari created displays where the speedometer graphic is below the level of a physical needle, which is itself behind additional drive info and beneath a curved inset lens.
• Weight: 5,100 lbs
• Will have fake gear shifts
Jony Ive: "We used touch on the phone to solve a problem [of not enough real estate to hold all the needed buttons for the desired applications]. In a car, that's just the wrong technology."
More details will be released in May.
Some lessons cost me millions to learn.
That’s why I made this list of the biggest ones. Burn it into your brain and follow it everyday while building your brand.
1. Master every skill yourself first
Everyone says "just hire experts" but that's how you get robbed blind.
Learn Facebook ads. Learn operations. Learn forecasting.
You can't lead what you don't understand.
2. Don't expect cash in year 1-2
All your money in ecom will go to inventory.
Keep living expenses very lean in this period.
3. Never build in isolation
Surround yourself with other founders.
One lunch with the right person will teach you more than hours of tutorials.
Build a mini community. Go have lunch with people.
4. Your company culture is who you are, not what you write down
I discovered this at 24, running multiple brands simultaneously.
I preached focus while running five companies.
I demanded organization while being chaotic.
Your company reflects your actions, not your words.
5. One product focus beats comfortable diversification
At The Oodie, we focused on one product until we hit $200M in revenue.
Don't rush to launch your second product before you've mastered your first.
A second product won't save a failing first one.
6. Systems protect revenue, not the other way around
I've built brands to $100M+ revenue.
I've also built a $7M brand that's now worth $0.
The difference? Systems that protect revenue.
7. Dropshipping is not a business
It's a test. A validation method. A temporary starting point.
If you're still dropshipping after your first $200k, you're building a house on quicksand.
Start building a real brand.
8. Most metrics that matter can't fit in a spreadsheet
How many customers found you through friends, not Facebook?
What emotions do people feel when opening your package?
Do they text their friends about your product?
9. Ugly products that people SEE will always beat pretty products that blend in
The Oodie was literally just a backward hoodie with a blanket attached.
But you saw it on Zoom calls and roommates asked where you got it.
Products people see repeatedly sell themselves.
The ones hidden away don't.
@syn_nxs I’ve been trying to make money online for years, but I haven’t made a single penny, lol. While others make hundreds of thousands dollars or even millions.
Dear Mr. Musk,
I, and the people of my town, owe you our gratitude. For six years, we have led the campaign for a Public Inquiry into the cover-up of the grooming and gang rape of Oldham’s children.
To this day, not a single mainstream reporter or news agency has told the full story of what powerful politicians did to those of us who refused to turn a blind eye to the industrial-scale abuse of children, not just in Oldham but across the UK. Without this platform, the truth would remain hidden.
Today, @Keir_Starmer and his @UKLabour will vote against a Public Inquiry into this national scandal. Here are the three main reasons why:
- To protect the block postal votes they rely on from sections of the UK’s Muslim communities to stay in power.
- To shield senior Labour politicians implicated in the cover-up, including Deputy PM @AngelaRayner, Home Secretary @YvetteCooperMP, Government Minister @JimfromOldham, and Greater Manchester Mayor @AndyBurnhamGM.
- To silence and demonise working-class communities like ours. They believe that by branding us as racists and far-right they can silence all opposition and tighten their grip on power.
The Prime Minister is fully aware of what took place in Oldham. When we first began our campaign, whilst leader of the Labour Party, @Keir_Starmer came to Oldham to help support members of his team that were trying to put myself and others in prison for daring to speak out.
Without your voice, and this platform, we would have already been defeated. For that we will be ever grateful. Thank you @elonmusk.
Yours Sincerely
Raja Miah MBE
