U.S. Chargé d'Affaires Aleks Zittle met with Cambodian Senior Minister Chhay Sinarith, Head of the Secretariat of the Commission for Combatting Online Scams (CCOS), to reinforce joint efforts against transnational cybercrime that target U.S. citizens. During the meeting, CDA Zittle recognized the Commission’s year-long crackdown on scam compounds and urged the Cambodian government to accelerate its campaign to hold operators accountable.  The two agreed to closer collaboration to dismantle illegal scam centers and to enhance law enforcement partnership.
