Godi media reported Lala Sadhguru's 😢 💦 after 80 members of his Mansarovar yatra group were caught the Nepal Flash Flood & went missing.

But here’s the part worth discussing no Godi reports -

The Isha Foundation is a public charitable trust, which gives it tax-exempt status.

However,
Apart from merchandise and other sources of income, the Foundation makes huge sums by selling these spiritual tours.

Jaggi Vasudev's Isha Foundation, an incorporated entity registered in the US, reported $48.7 million in revenue in 2024.

This up from the revenue of ₹56.43 crore in 2018 which was reported @newslaundry in 2021.

However, there are no available documents in India documenting the foundation's income.

As in 2021 a 13 day Kailash Mansarovar trip with Lala Sadhguru charge was - ₹50 lakh per person.

For those with somewhat smaller pockets, there were other options:
- ₹2.75 lakh via Kyirong
- ₹3.45 lakh via Lhasa
- ₹5.50 lakh via Lhasa & Ali

Though, of course, these three groups got the privilege of Lala Sadhguru’s divine darshan only once. 😌

Now, according to Sadhguru’s statement following the disaster, 1,463 people were on the Kailash Mansarovar pilgrimage.

Among them
495 people had already returned safely,
743 remained in Tibet,
148 were in Nepal,
77 were at the immigration centre with three volunteers.

And remember, the Foundation enjoys tax-exempt status. Can we skip a Tax return once? 😊

As I repeat, no business more profitable than the business of spirituality. 💸

AIMIM Expels MLC Mirza Rahmath Baig... But Party Stays Silent on Why🤷‍♂️

AIMIM expelled Telangana MLC Mirza Rahmath Baig on August 29 with immediate effect.

Interestingly, just a day before his expulsion, Baig had filed a complaint with Cyber Crime Police... alleging blackmailers were threatening to release Deepfake Videos of him unless he paid up.

👉 Now, two men are breaking their silence.

1. Salman Khan (HYC) alleges Baig was caught allegedly sexually assaulting a minor girl in Attapur, where local youth intervened, beat him and filmed the incident. He claims Asaduddin Owaisi knew about this beforehand and quietly sent Baig for Umrah to avoid controversy. Salman is demanding Owaisi publicly explain the expulsion himself, adding that an AIMIM MLA and a corporator are allegedly also involved... and that he holds evidence against all of them.

2. Old City journalist Syed Sabdar Ali echoes the same allegations, stating the videos went viral on social media, forcing AIMIM to act... but only after attempting to suppress the matter. He alleges the expulsion came with no explanation precisely because the real reason is too damaging for the party.

Both men are demanding accountability from Owaisi, who publicly champions women's dignity and hijab rights... while his own leaders allegedly behaved in the most disgraceful manner possible.

VIDEO | Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) President Vikas Singh on NALSAR controversy, says, "BCI chairman is behaving like the BCI is his personal property. Whenever he issues an order, letter or direction, he does not even refer to under which provision of the Act or regulation he's making such kind of an order... The resolution, the order which was passed was wholly illegal. And in fact, some people had also approached me, and we were about to mention the matter in the morning. A writ petition also was to be filed. And I'm 100% sure it would have been stayed by the Supreme Court. Probably he got a hint of that and he started withdrawing in phases. First, he withdrew partially, then NALSAR passed a resolution on whether they can do such an inquiry or not, which is also permissible, and they will consider it in the executive committee. So he realised that they may ultimately say that they will not do even that inquiry which he said should happen in the second letter. So at night, he tweeted that he will withdraw completely. He has to understand that he is the chairman of the regulator of the entire legal profession. He has to set the right standards for the youngsters to follow. I am not trying to, for once, even suggest that what the children did with regard to not protesting against the CJI coming for the convocation. But that is their right under the Constitution. They may be ill-advised, they may be, you know, not doing the right thing. They may be justified also..."

Today is Surendra #Gadling 's birthday. He is in jail for the past 8 years. He is a very good lawyer and law students in Nagpur would go to hear him argue. The police did not like his advocacy and implicated him in the catch all #BhimaKoregaon case. It is precisely because lawyers like him have languished inside, that policemen have been emboldened to misbehave with other lawyers. Here's hoping that his pending appeal in the Supreme Court is heard speedily and he is free at last.
