In Mississauga, I visited The Village of Erin Meadows to see their Living Classroom. This partnership between @sheridancollege and @SchlegelVillage allows PSW students to alternate between gaining hands-on experience in a long-term care setting, and also receiving in-class instruction.

Our government recently expanded the number of Living Classrooms from 20 to 42 through a $11 million investment. This initiative will support the training of up to 1,300 new PSWs by 2026!
