I interprete Gowon’s wording that way — as more than a military declaration, but as an attempt to erase the political legitimacy and symbolic identity of Biafra after the war.

Let us embark on this journey, confident that each step taken in peace strengthens the foundation for lasting change. Let our voices be heard in the 4 corners of the world, not just for the 30th of May, but continuously until our aim is achieved.

Good News: Nathan Nwachuku @_KingNath will be donating N40 million towards 2027 South East Maths Olympiad.

Winners of the Senior and Junior categories will get internships at Terra Industries in addition to their N10 million and N5 million prize monies.
