@edwardkuruvilla Are we voting for what’s best for Malaysians, given the harsh realities we’re all facing. Or are we voting simply based on race and religion? Where people’s well-being, unemployment, education, inflation etc no longer matter?
@statmuse His main selling point was his “supposedly elite defense”, but he can’t guard any of the top guards in the league right now. Luka bullied him like he was barely an obstacle. Seems to me mental health is not the only issue, his entire fitness and conditioning is way behind.
@statmuse Curry. He might not be a “better” player than Lebron a/t some, but his shooting is more lethal in today’s game, and teams need to dedicate all their attention and game plan in containing him, and even then he still won it all …
@MegaTJP@LegionHoops @Pvark1 @PlayersChoice_ You forgetting how teams defend Steph. If you drop off even an inch too far back you are dead. If you don’t trap properly you’re dead. Steph’s biggest strength is he’ll always create an unfair disadvantage for your defense, even against the best defense with a DOPY guarding him
@theYemster@_JasonLT His point is, the roster has yet to prove they can go deep in the playoffs off an 82 game season. They just haven’t. Nobody’s discrediting them for the chip. But since we can only judge a team based on a 82 game season, Lakers have yet to prove it.
@GSWReddit@TheNatural_05 I think 2022 Steph was the most complete version of him that we’ve ever seen. His improved physique has helped him overcome the flaws he had earlier in his career, he is well accustomed to playing against double teams and traps, his movement puts other teams into exhaustion.
@NBAMemes One’s a freak of nature, an all time physical specimen, the other is a small guard that was plagued by ankle injuries early in his career. It’s like comparing a heavyweight to a featherweight boxer, which we don’t. In those comparisons, championships mean more.
@statmuse My question would be, which of them was the most selfless in pursuit of winning? Which player made sacrifices, play for the team, play a different or lesser role etc for the betterment of the team? Of the 4, perhaps Harden with his recent paycut.
@statmuse If you take away KD, you have to replace him with another player(s) of equal salary. So stop imagining the Warriors playing the Cavs with a 30+ million disadvantage in capspace, or is that the handicap that’s required for other teams to beat em?
@BlaetcherReport U forgetting Steph was injured in the playoffs and was reinjured in finals game 3. When he loses you laugh, when other people lose it’s cause they injured. But his injury don’t count for nothing? Like 2016. If you fit enough to play, then shut up play no excuses.
@drhumki Houses are built to insulate against the winter cold, because people can just as easily die from the cold. Come summer, that house built to insulate would just as easily kill someone. Different world if your only concern is the heat.
@ComplexSports@StephenCurry30 Hypothetically I agree. You can’t win if u can’t stop a 3pt shooting team from getting open looks. The pace of today’s game and the space u need to cover is huge. The bigger issue is Steph, and u have KD and Klay to space the floor. Those 3 would average 90 combine if Shaq starts
